The 8th annual BiG (Betting and iGaming) Africa Summit kicks off in Johannesburg, South Africa, in February. The event gives African gaming stakeholders the chance to reconnect. It also helps them to form new relationships.
Event organizers Eventus International said the summit has received global interest. All necessary safety protocols will be in place, protecting the well-being of everyone who attends.
Finding the Way Forward
Stakeholders from Africa and beyond will meet at Johannesburg’s Emperors Palace for the BiG Africa Summit. Emperors Palace is one of the city’s most popular gaming and entertainment venues. iGaming and betting operators and suppliers will set up exhibitions on the exhibition floor. This will give opportunities to network with each other and potential clients.
Attendees will have chances to share knowledge at conference sessions. One of the goals of the event is for stakeholders to discuss the way forward. The summit will be the best platform for online betting and gambling operators in Africa to showcase products. Suppliers and clients can also get to know Africa’s gaming industry.
Dates Changes to Allow Attendance
The 8th annual BiG Africa Summit originally was planned to take place on 17 and 18 January. The event organizers moved the event to 8 and 9 February to give countries time to lower their travel restrictions. This was done in the hope of allowing as many people as possible to attend the summit.
The South African government has lowered restrictions on international flights. Flights within the country are also allowed. However, several other countries still have travel restrictions in place.
Eventus managing director, Yudi Soetjiptadi said that they want international stakeholders to attend the event. This will be possible if more countries lower their travel restrictions during January.
