African Betting Markets We Cover

Betting law in Africa is national, not continental, and the differences are the ones that decide whether a dispute has anywhere to go: who licenses an operator, whether winnings are taxed and at what rate, how old you have to be, and which mobile-money wallet the cashier actually supports. Each guide below opens with that market’s position, sourced to the regulator, the revenue authority or the statute itself, with the date we read it.

Where we could not read a primary source, the guide says so rather than filling the gap. Operator pages are indexed separately on sportsbook reviews.
